With just six weeks until the first wedding of the season, we were brought in to reimagine the garden at this spectacular Austrian castle. A large specimen tree that acted as the centrepiece for events had to be removed for safety reasons; so creating beautiful new backdrops for photographs and parties was high on the list of priorities.

We answered the brief with pleached hornbeam and structural hedges – forming the perfect backdrop to the wild, romantic planting within. A dining terrace, reception area and ceremony space (with that ever important approach for the bride) were reimagined in a ceremonious and elegant design.
